Dr. Karen Panetta: Dr. Karen Panetta has put tireless effort forth into acquiring funding for the simlab and using the simlab to help her student acquire knowledge and experience not available anywhere else. Chen Gao: Chen Gao is a PhD candidate in the ECE department at Tufts University. She got her BSEE in Beijing Normal University in 2008 and MSEE in Polytechnique Institute of NYU in 2010. She is currently a research assistant to Dr. Panetta in Simlab at Tufts University. Her research interests include image contrast enhancement, color enhancement, edge detection, with a focus on using alpha weighed quadratic filter.
